  • We want to work in four stages: we call them “workstreams”.

    The four workstreams range from #privacysensitive (a little more than we generally are now, but not much more), through #privacypositive, #secrecysensitive and finally the ultimate expression of what I would like us to do, being #secrecypositive architectures:

    • "workstream a", delivered using current architectures, chips and software/firmware implementations | #innovation only; zero #invention

    • "workstream b", delivered using current architectures, chips and software/firmware implementations, but firmly on the way to being repurposed and re-engineered | mainly #innovation, but some reduced potential for repurposing

    • "workstream c", delivered using aggressively re-engineered architectures, chips and software/firmware implementations | #innovation *and* #invention

    • "workstream d", delivered using future, heavily research-based architectures, chips and software/firmware implementations | #invention much more than #innovation, and possibly exclusively the former over the latter

  • Essentially, because of the existential threat to Western democracy which nonconforming criminal actors pose to heavily self-surveilled Western individuals and workteams. Really, for decades now we have surveilled ourselves out of the creativity we once enjoyed. Meantime, criminals like Putin & Co have sharpened their capacity to think up unimaginable ways of running the world:
